What Does a Small Business Website Cost in Georgia?
Compare monthly and one-time website plans, understand the costs beyond design, and prepare a quote brief before committing to a project.
Compare the full commitment, not just the starting price
A website quote is useful only when it explains what you receive and what you will keep paying for. A monthly price can make a build easier to budget, while a one-time project can suit a business that wants a defined handover. Neither approach tells you the page count, ownership terms, or maintenance responsibilities by itself.
At Antler, the advertised starting plans are $99 per month with a 12-month minimum, or $1,500 for a one-time build of up to five pages. The monthly minimum totals $1,188. Optional hosting and maintenance for a one-time website starts at $50 per month; twelve months would add $600 if you choose that service. These are our starting plans, not a claim about the average price of every Georgia agency.
Ask what is included before comparing quotes
Two five-page websites can involve very different work. A straightforward service site with supplied text and images differs from a website needing copywriting, appointment scheduling, a product catalog, payment collection, or migration from an old platform. Define the visitor’s main action first: call, request an estimate, book, or buy.
Ask each provider to list the actual pages and integrations. Clarify who supplies photographs and text, how many review rounds are included, who approves launch, and how changes beyond the agreed scope are priced. A vague promise of “everything included” makes meaningful comparisons difficult.
- •Page count and the purpose of each page
- •Content and image responsibilities
- •Forms, booking, payments, and other integrations
- •Review rounds and edit allowances
- •Launch checks, hosting, backups, and support
Separate a website build from ongoing marketing
A new website needs search essentials: readable content, descriptive titles, usable navigation, crawlable pages, and a sitemap. That foundation does not automatically include regular articles, link outreach, profile management, advertising, or continuous SEO work.
If your goal is more inquiries, agree on how you will measure them and which work happens after launch. A site can be technically sound and still have little visibility because few relevant searches show it. Conversely, traffic can grow without producing customers if the offer, service area, or next step is unclear. No provider can responsibly promise a particular ranking or lead count.
Check ownership and cancellation in writing
For a monthly plan, ask what happens after the minimum term, what early termination costs, whether the price renews automatically, and whether the finished site can be transferred. Confirm whether hosting is part of the fee and which files or accounts you receive on exit. Antler’s monthly page, edit, ownership, renewal, and cancellation conditions must be specified in the written proposal.
For a one-time Antler website, agreed deliverables transfer after payment in full, subject to third-party licenses. Your domain, paid tools, stock images, fonts, and platform subscriptions may have separate terms. Keep a list of account owners and renewal dates so a later handover is straightforward.
Prepare a short brief for a useful estimate
Send your current website if you have one, the services you want to sell, the geographic area you cover, and the main action customers should take. Add your target date and any essential integrations. If you have no website yet, a concise description of the business is enough to begin.
In Cumming, Dawsonville, or another Georgia service area, avoid starting with a long list of city pages. Start with clear service information, genuine proof, and a reliable contact route. Add location pages when they provide information that helps a customer decide. A written scope turns your budget into a concrete project instead of a guess.
