Some of our mobile applications may use the device camera, Photos picker, or Apple on-device Vision APIs for features that involve face detection or face-related processing. When an app uses these features, processing is performed locally on the user's device unless the app clearly states otherwise.

For Soulie, camera access is used only to animate the user's focus companion during onboarding and focus sessions. Soulie may temporarily process camera frames on the device to detect whether a face is present and to derive temporary face-related signals such as face position, gaze/head direction, smile, wink, mouth-open, nod, and similar expression or gesture signals.

Soulie does not record, save, upload, transmit, sell, or share live camera video, camera frames, face landmarks, face geometry, biometric identifiers, or face templates. Live camera processing in Soulie happens locally on the user's device. Camera frames and temporary face signals are processed in memory and discarded immediately; they are not retained by Soulie.

If a user chooses to create a photo-based companion avatar in Soulie, the app may process a user-selected photo locally on the device to detect and crop the face area. The resulting cropped image is stored only in Soulie's local app container on the user's device so the app can display the selected companion avatar. This image is not uploaded to our servers and is not shared with third parties. The user can replace or delete the photo companion in the app, and the local file is removed when deleted or when the app is uninstalled.

We do not use face data from Soulie for advertising, marketing, user profiling, identity verification, tracking, analytics, or data mining. Face data from Soulie is not shared with analytics providers, advertising networks, RevenueCat, or any other third party.
